Back Home
Alhamdulillah, kami selamat tiba ke rumah. Fuhh, what a very penat + hectic trip it was; 3 minggu mana cukup. First week dah semua tak sihat, batuk2 kena throat infection, panas sangat kot. Dah tu, ke Ipoh, Penang, Kota Bharu and balik semula ke KL. We only managed to do a last minute shopping at Giant a day before balik sini; dash and grab sort of shopping. Last time balik tak sempat nak meninjau Putrajaya, and sadly, this time pun masih tak sempat. The truth is, since a few years ago, I wanted to write (architectural) comments on Putrajaya, but I've been stopping myself to do so until I see it with my own eyes. Nampaknya, I'll have to do it thru photo and images I've seen so far :(Anyway, terima kasih daun keladi to Abe Dib for the lovely lunch at KLCC. Thanks to Dona and husband for coming along to meet us. And well done to docteejay for spotting Kakak at the lift lobby! Till we meet again....
Over here, it has been very wet and windy. A normally 2-month rain came down in 2 hours down south in a Cornish village and flooded the area, and a landslide has blocked a road and trapping more than 50 people up north in Scotland. On the other hand, we're back to our normal driving condition... nice, smooth and easy, not like in KL... kecoh and very very extremely stressful.
Sky News reporting a bird flu case in Kelantan where hundreds of birds have been culled as authorities act to contain the outbreak. It also reported that the Sec Gen of the Agri Ministry said:
"It's not easy because we have to catch the chickens first, the chickens there are roaming."
:) :O :)
