Stairway to Heaven
When a young couple, Aminuddin & Katrina arrived in Oxford last year, she was already pregnant. Soon, earlier this year they were overjoyed with the arrival of their first child, baby Amir. Unfortunately, in the 2nd week of Ramadhan just passed, baby Amir had developed an acute heart failure and was warded at the Cardiac Critical Care, Great Ormond Street Children Hospital, London.In addition to giving moral support, prayers and encouragement, Malaysian community in Oxford had launched a Tabung Derma Amir, in giving some monetary assistance to the couple's expenses. Alhamdullilah, a good sum of money was raised and presented to the couple during raya. Amir was soon transferred back to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford... and we all prayed that he would be back to normal soon.
On Monday (20th Nov) afternoon though, Almighty God decided to call baby Amir back to His paradise. Innalillah-e-Wainnailaihi-Rajioon.
Last night, we had a tahlil session. Amir’s body, insyaAllah will be prepared and flown back to Malaysia later today.
