Selamat dan Rehat
Alhamdulillah, we bid farewell to most of our labourers yesterday after handed their salaries. They have worked very hard and long over the past 7 months in this then very dusty place. Suddenly this used to be a very buzzling site went dead quiet. Only a few sub contractors call in through out today for their payments. This morning, MSD staff started moving in a few items into their respective rooms. Next week, a team of JKR Engineers will arrive to witness the Testing & Commissioning. Then, this building is all theirs. The Main Contractor is still going to be here for the next 12 month (Defects Liability Period) but not me as the job is simple enough and can be easily handled by one person, i.e. the Contract Manager. Even so, he won't be here everyday. On that note, I will be jobless (again) after next week :(To all: SELAMAT DATANG KE MSD & M'SIA HALL (BARU)
(Depends on when MSD will open its door to the public). Yet, don't expect to come for meal at the new Cafe in the Basement as tender is yet to be called and awarded.
